From the wilds of Ontario

Our recent Trumpeter Swan visitor was hatched in 2006 from parents 091 and 144 on Irving Langill's pond in Grand Valley, Ontario. Mr. Harry Lumsden, the head of the Ontario Trumpeter Swan program just called. Some of the other birds he is tracking are all the way down in Maryland. I encourage you to be a swanspotter and call in any swan with a tag. Our pen has flown way and might be on a lake near you.
