I woke up to see my world shrouded in a think blanket of fog. Hours later the hush was still on the land; no dog barked, no birds called, what small sounds there were came faintly, clogged by the fog. I would not want to be lost in the woods on such a day.

I am reminded of "The fog comes in on little cat feet..." Karla
Very artistic shot...
No I thought no place could be much foggier than where I grew up; Pacific Grove, California, but your photo shows I may be wrong...
Great photo. It looks like a portent of some great and significant event - the kind you see at the start of sword & sorcerer movies.
There is something so quiet and mysterious about the world seen through fog. I've also seen some beautiful scenes as the sun burns through.
Isn't it odd, I think I would love to be wandering about the woods in fog when everything looks strange and unfamiliar. Sometime the fog will lift andyou can find your way out again.
this is beautiful! I love the fog & how it changes the landscape.
It's mystical. I wouldn't want to be lost in it, either, but it makes a lovely photo.
It looks like ans enchanted wood
The fog almost conceals the fairy I saw.
Great capture from your world.
