This is the biggest magnolia blossom I have ever seen. It was easily 10-12 inches across. Other interesting thing...it is pollinated by beetles. I guess we don't have bees big enough.
Beautiful. It just says "Southern." I love it.

It does look enormous! The beetle thing is a little yucky though. It is something I have never thought about. Marta
